What is Blockchain Technology

Blockchain technology is an advanced database mechanism that allows transparent
information sharing within a business network.
A blockchain database stores data in blocks that are linked together in a chain.

Blockchain defined: Blockchain is a shared, immutable ledger that facilitates
the process of recording
transactions and tracking assets in a business network.

A blockchain is a distributed database or ledger shared among a computer network's nodes.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin is the first
decentralized cryptocurrency.
Nodes in the peer-to-peer bitcoin
network verify transactions through cryptography
and record them in a public
distributed ledger,
called a blockchain,
without central oversight

Ethereum

Ethereum is a decentralized blockchain
with smart contract functionality.
Ether is the native cryptocurrency
of the platform. Among cryptocurrencies,
ether is second only to bitcoin in market
capitalization. It is open-source software.
Ethereum was conceived in 2013 by programmer
Vitalik Buterin.

Polygon

Polygon is a blockchain platform which aims
to create a multi-chain blockchain system compatible
with Ethereum. As with Ethereum,
it uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism
for processing transactions on-chain.
Polygon's native token is named MATIC.

BNB Smart Chain

BNB Smart Chain, formerly Binance Smart Chain,
is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible
blockchain platform capable of general purpose
smart contract execution. It is a base layer,
or Layer 1 (L1), which is part of the BNB Chain
ecosystem of blockchains that is developed
with the support of cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
It is known for its fast transaction time and
low transaction cost.

Arbitrum

Arbitrum is the brainchild of Offchain Labs,
a company founded by Ed Felten, Steven Goldfeder,
and Harry Kalodner. It offers a
Layer-2 (L2) scaling solution for Ethereum,
designed to enhance the network's capabilities by increasing
transaction speed, helping to improve scalability,
and adding privacy features.

Coinmarketcap

Coinmarketcap is a website that provides
information and data such as prices,
trade volumes, market capitalization on
cryptocurrencies. It was founded in 2013
in New York City by Brandon Chez.

Github

GitHub, Inc. is a platform and cloud-based service
for software development and version control,
allowing developers to store
and manage their code.

Etherscan

Etherscan is a block explorer that
lets you view public data on transactions,
smart contracts, addresses, and more on
the Ethereum blockchain.

Ordiscan

Ordiscan is used to track the movement
of BRC-20 Ordinals and inscriptions.

Coingeko

CoinGecko is the world's largest independent
cryptocurrency data aggregator with over 11,000+
different cryptoassets tracked across more
than 900+ exchanges

Polygonscan

search, API and analytics platform for Polygon.
Stream Any On-chain Event for Polygonscan
with Custom Webhooks.

BSCscan

BscScan. is the leading blockchain explorer,
search, API and analytics platform for BNB Smart Chain.
As a means to provide equitable access to
blockchain data, we've developed the
BscScan Developer APIs to empower developers
with direct access to BscScan's block explorer
data and services via GET/POST requests.
