Home Bitnium Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bitnium collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Bitnium platform, website (bitnium.org), and $BTNM ERC-20 token ecosystem. By accessing or using the Bitnium platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

01

Introduction

Bitnium operates as a decentralized ERC-20 utility token project built on the Ethereum blockchain. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, visitors, and participants who interact with our platform, smart contracts, decentralized exchange (DEX), and related services.

Because Bitnium is a decentralized protocol, we collect significantly less personal data than traditional financial platforms. However, certain interactions — such as contacting our support team or visiting our website — may involve the collection of limited personal or technical information. This policy describes exactly what we collect and why.

Important: Bitnium does not require KYC (Know Your Customer) verification to use the DEX. Your wallet address is the only identifier needed to interact with $BTNM and our smart contracts.

02

Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to operate, improve, and secure our platform. The categories of data we may collect include:

Data Type Details & Context
Wallet Address Your public Ethereum wallet address when you interact with our smart contracts or DEX. This is public blockchain data — not personal data in the traditional sense.
Email Address Only if you voluntarily contact us at support@bitnium.org or admin@bitnium.org, subscribe to updates, or fill in a contact form on our website.
Usage & Technical Data Browser type, device type, IP address, referring URLs, and pages visited — collected automatically via standard web analytics tools to help us improve site performance.
Transaction Data On-chain transaction details (e.g. token swaps, transfers involving $BTNM) that are publicly recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. This data is beyond our control once submitted.
Communications Content of messages you send to our team via email or social channels, used solely to respond to your enquiry.

We will never ask for your private key, seed phrase, or wallet password. Anyone claiming to be Bitnium and requesting such information should be treated as a scam attempt. Please report such incidents to support@bitnium.org.

03

How We Use Your Data

Any information collected by Bitnium is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Platform Operation: To facilitate the functionality of the Bitnium DEX, $BTNM smart contracts, and the TradeON application.
  • Customer Support: To respond to enquiries, troubleshoot issues, and communicate important platform updates or security notices.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent suspicious activity, abuse, or unauthorized access to the platform.
  • Analytics & Improvement: To understand how users interact with our website and platform, enabling us to improve the user experience and fix issues.
  • Legal Compliance: To meet any legal obligations that may apply to our operations under applicable international laws and regulations.
  • Community Communication: If you have opted in, to send you platform news, token updates, and relevant announcements.

We do not use your data for profiling, targeted advertising, or sell it to any third party for marketing purposes under any circumstance.

04

Blockchain & Public Data

Bitnium is built on the Ethereum blockchain, which is a public, permissionless, and immutable ledger. Any transaction you perform — including purchasing, transferring, or swapping $BTNM tokens — is permanently recorded on-chain and is publicly visible to anyone with access to the Ethereum network.

This includes your wallet address, transaction amounts, timestamps, and smart contract interactions. Bitnium has no ability to alter, delete, or conceal this on-chain data. By interacting with the Bitnium smart contracts, you acknowledge and accept this inherent transparency of blockchain technology.

You can view all $BTNM contract activity publicly on Etherscan: View $BTNM on Etherscan.

05

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website (bitnium.org) may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and gather anonymised analytical data. The types of cookies we may use include:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the basic functionality of the website, such as session management and security features. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics Cookies: Used to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our site (pages visited, time spent, referral sources). This helps us improve the platform.
  • Preference Cookies: Used to remember your settings and preferences for a more personalised experience on return visits.

You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Bitnium website. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising or share cookie data with advertising networks.

06

Third-Party Services

To operate the Bitnium platform effectively, we may integrate with or link to certain trusted third-party services. These may include:

  • Ethereum Blockchain Infrastructure: Services such as Infura, Alchemy, or similar providers that facilitate blockchain connectivity. These services may log your IP address when you initiate RPC calls.
  • Web Analytics: Anonymised analytics tools to understand site traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is shared.
  • Etherscan: Public blockchain explorer used to display token and transaction data. Etherscan has its own privacy policy governing its services.
  • DEX Aggregators: When using the Bitnium DEX or TradeON application, interactions may involve third-party liquidity providers or protocols governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Bitnium is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before use.

07

Data Retention

Bitnium retains personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:

  • Support Emails: Correspondence retained for up to 24 months to assist with follow-up queries, after which it is securely deleted.
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to any individual.
  • On-Chain Data: Blockchain transaction data is permanent and cannot be deleted by Bitnium or any party. This is a fundamental property of the Ethereum network.
  • Subscription Lists: Retained until you unsubscribe. You may opt out at any time by contacting us at support@bitnium.org.
08

  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Please note that these rights do not apply to on-chain blockchain data, which is immutable by design. To exercise any of the above rights, contact us at support@bitnium.org.

09

Children's Privacy

The Bitnium platform and all associated services are strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@bitnium.org. We will take prompt steps to delete such data from our records upon verification.

10

Security

Bitnium implements a range of technical and organisational measures to protect any personal information we hold against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encrypted communications via HTTPS/TLS across all Bitnium web properties.
  • Smart contracts developed and audited with security best practices to minimise on-chain vulnerabilities.
  • Restricted internal access to any personal data collected, limited to authorised team members only.
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring of our infrastructure for threats or anomalous activity.

No system is completely immune to risk. Bitnium cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet or stored digitally. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own wallet, private keys, and seed phrases.

Security Notice: If you discover a security vulnerability in the Bitnium platform, please disclose it responsibly by emailing support@bitnium.org with the subject line [URGENT] Security Report. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
